Experts point to anomalies in 'unprecedented' case of missing N.S. children | CBC News

Lilly Sullivan, 6 and Jackson Sullivan, 4

After the long search for two young children in Nova Scotia, there have been no leads. Law enforcement has been searching for days by foot, helicopter, drones and dogs but there is no sign of the missing kids. Experts are categorizing this as an "anomaly" due to the near nothing evidence, which isn't like most cases linked to missing youth. Weirdly enough, the two siblings had school absences following up to their disappearance but no witnesses to this, adding more concern to the case. Although, many people have been speculating abduction, "police have said they do not believe the children were abducted", forming more suspicion to the whole situation. The investigation is not over and the RCMP are still actively following the case with the help from "180 tips from members of the public", so hope is not lost.

I'm left feeling a rush of so many emotions because of this situation. I can't even imagine how these young children are feeling if they're still with us but don't know what's going on. I fear that the mother knows what happened but isn't sharing anything. Crazy things like this happen often in America but it hits even harder knowing that it's going on in your country. I don't believe two kids just disappear like this, so someone out there knows exactly what happened. It doesn't sit right with me that two kids just disappear without a trace. Even though the daughter is only 6, I think that she knows to stay in their yard and is aware of the dangers of the forest surrounding their property. I hope this on-going search finds some leads and can bring Lilly and Jack home.
