Is it Worth it if the Canucks go for Marco Rossi?
Should the Canucks try to trade for Marco Rossi?

Marco Rossi playing for the Minnesota Wild
Following J.T. Miller's exit from the Canucks, leaves the team in need of a new second-line centre to fill the spot. The team is in desperate need of "upgrading at centre", due to the position now being vacant. Additionally, Jim Rutherford the "president of hockey operations", thinks that they will have to trade players if they want to secure a strong player. At the moment, Marco Rossi might be a top contender for this opportunity as Minnesota isn't up to standard for his contract requests. Rossi is available for trade, after his disappointing outcome from playoffs. He is currently looking for about 7-million-dollar contract but was only offered shy of 5-million-dollars by the Wild. Securing Rossi would be expensive for the Canucks so they most likely won't jump on it.
I think that the Canucks could benefit from Marco Rossi, increasing overall abilities. Since Rossi isn't the tallest or physical player, there's a chance that it would take a lot from him to fit with the Canucks. I don't really think it would be worth 7-million-dollars to get Rossi on the team, but we never truly know how it would play out if he did get traded. I just want the best for the Canucks, and I don't if the price is worth uncertainty. After missing playoffs this season, I know the Canucks want to immediately change things but I'm not sure if they would seal the deal with Rossi.
